Meet Dr. Feingold

Sheryl L. Feingold, M.D., F. A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist engaged in clinical practice for over 27 years.  

Dr. Feingold attended a combined seven year B.A./M.D. Medical program, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Brooklyn College in 1989 with Phi Beta Kappa honors. She then attended the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1993 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors as well.  

After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Feingold completed her internship in Internal Medicine at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital and then completed her Dermatology residency at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital and Medical Center, where she also trained at the Northport VA Medical Center.   

Dr. Feingold maintains her hospital affiliation with NYU Langone Long Island Hospital where she has been an attending physician in the Division of Dermatology for over 27 years.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.   

Dr. Feingold is also the immediate past President of The Long Island Dermatological Society (LIDS). She has served on the LIDS executive board for the last eight years, during which she planned and presided over their conferences. She continues to be an active member in the Society.
