Eczema
Eczema is a common skin condition affecting 10% of the American population. Individuals of any age can be affected, ranging from newborns to seniors.
There are seven types of eczema; these area seborrheic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, nummular eczema, dyshidrotic eczema, neurodermatitis, stasis dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis.
The mainstay treatments for eczema include immunomodulating creams, emollients, light-based therapies, and systemic medications.
